Prepare & Submit
I prepare your documents and submit them to the Washington State Secretary of State's office for apostille certification. For federal documents, submission goes to the U.S. Department of State.
State Issues the Apostille Certificate
The Secretary of State reviews and attaches the official apostille certificate to your document, authenticating it for international use.

Expedited Mail
Typically 2–3 business days from SOS receipt plus mail time — approximately 1 week realistic.
Standard Mail
Typically 7–10 business days from SOS receipt plus mail time — approximately 2–3 weeks realistic.
Important: Grothen Notary cannot guarantee specific turnaround times as apostille issuance is controlled by the Washington Secretary of State's office.
